Started this journal mainly out of boredom but keep it going for various reasons. I post about whatever is most fresh in my mind and what I am finding new or interesting. Usually I will go a week or two really posting about one topic (with a few others thrown in) and then move on to something else. Examples of this would be my recent vegetarian posts. It is something that is new and interesting to me. So there are quite a few over the past week (8/20). Sometimes I get in the habit of just using LJ to track something. Maybe diet, exercise, etc along with some day to day and "what I did this weekend" kinds of things. Frequently when I post, either at work or at home, something happens to interrupt me and I need to pick up where I left off. This leaves some of my sentences or paragraphs a little disjointed at times but if you have any questions ask, and don't be surprised if my response seems contradictory to what I posted (may have left out "-like", "some", or "'nt" which can really change the tone of the post). Not much else to say really.  All too often, self-appointed authorities will state categorically that they do not believe other's observations and so seek to close the door on any further inquiry into these observations. They declare, "Because I do not believe the facts as presented, they are not so." Far better for science if responsible individuals maintain an attitude of open inquiry and test the observations of others before forming rigid opinions. | |||||
